These words by Joseph Pilates have always resonated with me.
As a professional dancer, I found out early that incredible flexibility is of no use without stability and control to "anchor" the movement. When you strengthen and learn to use core support muscles, you can engage in your favorite sport, work, or leisure activity with greater ease and capacity and less injury. Even after a few lessons, clients notice the difference.
